One service, almost everywhere
Anime News Network’s preview guide puts it plainly: the series streams on Crunchyroll on Saturdays. The territory list runs to North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and the CIS — excluding Russia and Belarus. New episodes land at 12:00 p.m. ET, and Final Weapon’s schedule piece tracks the weekly cadence.
An English dub is part of the package rather than an afterthought: Crunchyroll announced the dub staff and cast in mid-July, and it streams alongside the subtitled version. For a historical drama with this much dialogue, that matters more than usual — this is not a show you can half-watch.
Japan gets twenty services
Now the other side. The official site’s broadcast page lists twenty streaming services in Japan: ABEMA, DMM TV, dAnime Store (plus its Prime Video and Niconico branches), FOD, Hulu, J:COM STREAM, Lemino, milplus, Netflix, Prime Video, TELASA, TVer, U-NEXT, WOWOW On Demand, Anime Hodai, Niconico and Bandai Channel. On television it airs on TV Asahi’s nationwide 24-station IMAnimation block from July 4, Saturdays at 23:30, with BS Asahi, AT-X, CS TV Asahi Channel 1 and — from August 1 — Animax.

Who is left out, precisely
Two different kinds of gap, and they deserve different wording. Russia and Belarus are explicitly excluded from the Crunchyroll rollout — that is a stated exclusion, not an oversight.
Asia outside Japan is a quieter case. Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia are simply not named in the announced territory list, and at the time of writing the regional listing databases show no offers there. That is an absence of announcement rather than proof of unavailability, so treat it as unresolved and check your local services — licences in the region are sometimes announced late, and we will update this page when they are.
Why it is the best-reviewed show of the season
This is not a minor title. In Anime News Network’s cumulative reader ranking for the summer season (July 1–28) Jaadugar sits at number one, and it took Anime Corner’s weekly poll in week two. The credits explain a lot of that: Science SARU produces, with Naoko Yamada as chief director and Abel Góngora directing, character designs by Kenichi Yoshida and music by Kōshirō Hino. The opening is SEKAI NO OWARI’s Stella, the ending Ziyoou-vachi’s Hoshi.
The source is Tomato Soup’s manga A Witch’s Life in Mongol, serialised by Akita Shoten — a 13th-century story following Shitara, an enslaved girl who takes the name Fatima and sets out to bring down the Mongol Empire from inside its own court using the one thing she was allowed to keep: an education. The total episode count has not been officially confirmed, so we are not printing one.
